ProspectSoft is pleased to announce its expansion into new markets in South Africa.
In early February 2006 ProspectSoft has signed an agreement with Pegasus MPower Pty to distribute the ProspectSoft CRM solution in South Africa. Pegasus MPower Pty will also service other locations in Africa from its base in Johannesburg.
This announcement builds on ProspectSoft’s success with over 60 resellers in the UK, and distribution channels in several overseas markets including Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
John Wilson, Managing Director of Pegasus MPower Pty is confident and excited about the potential of CRM in South Africa, in commenting on the current IT usage in the country he says:
“Most South African businesses have over the years, achieved good financial control through the adoption of proven accounting systems.”
He goes on to discuss the requirement to expand systems beyond standard accounting systems:
“The next big, broad based gap yet to be filled in most SME's is managing the way each person in the organisation deals with and responds to customers and suppliers. Get this right and the business grows. Ignore it, and one inadvertently gives the edge to your competitor.”
ProspectSoft are equally confident in the market and their chosen partner, Andrew Ardron, Managing Director of ProspectSoft says:
“The South African economy has stabilised well over the last few years and there are many companies who are being successful in regional and international markets. As companies grow, they need to take control of their customer facing processes and be able to report on their front-line activities. We are confident that, with its track record of success in providing Pegasus accounting solutions, Pegasus Mpower Pty are an ideal partner for delivering the CRM message to South African companies.”
